The Power Shoes Every Fashionista Needs Now

THE POWER SHOES EVERY FASHIONISTA GIRLBOSS NEEDS NOW

By Shana Lynn Yao

Dior Sling Back

I'm going to be honest, I'm not a shoe whore or a full time fashion blogger - but after spending 25 years as a retail and shopping center marketing director, and as what I call a secret fashionista, I love all things about rockin' my personal style. And when much of my work as a Business Strategist for entrepreneurs involves business, it's a selfish indulgence that I creatively have worked fashion, lifestyle, and holistic health into my brand (let's hear it for creative marketing!)

So as I set forth this morning to write and article about why you don't need to pick a niche and instead you need to define your brand style, I was having a hard time focusing because I had kitten heels on my mind.

Yes, as a multi-passionate entrepreneur, I love all things about fashion, creative marketing, Instagram, and holistic health. So today, instead of ranting about not having to choose a niche, I'm going to indulge in my freedom of choice and firm belief that there are NO RULES in business except the ones you restrict yourself with.

Yes, you can have a successful business when you have a well positioned BRAND. ;)

So back to those kitten heels - in case you haven't noticed, every fashionista and influencer online is wearing KITTEN HEELS and kitten heeled sling backs. And real life, kitten heels are a classic that has never gone out of style. Popularized by Audrey Hepburn back in the 50's, even my fashionista mother was wearing them back in the 70's.

So let's hear it for getting COMFORTABLE at those networking events, looking stylish in your everyday life (they look awesome with jeans!) and actually looking in trend for fall 2017 and onward.

The above shoes are the Dior Sling Backs - and those shoes rock a solid $830 price tag. Uh - I'm a fashionista on a budget and even if I had tons of money, I wouldn't waste it on a pair of shoes. There are starving people standing on the street corners and homeless people, animals - real world problems. And if you're anything like me, you would rather save the world with your additional money than waste it on a pair of shoes.

Lucky for you, I found some less expensive options (let's say UNDER $50). You can thank me below (wink wink). So let's get busy shopping!

LOVE THIS? YOU WILL LOVE...
